Family Meeting ~
***We're having a
"NOT
Back To
School"picnic!
We will get together on Sunday, the 24th of August at
Veteran's Memorial Park starting at 5:00 until dark. We
will have the covered ramada near the castle playground.
Please bring any kickball or softball gear and bases and
we'll have a family game!!!
Bring a main dish and a side or a dessert - we'll try to
eat between 5:30 and 6:00.
We'll also have a short discussion time for planning for
the upcoming year for GRACE activities.
We need you and your input and hope to have lots of family
fun - so come on out!!

Upcoming Activities ~
***Physics
Class for High School students!
Brenda Conley will be lending her expert instruction and
will lead the class! We will meet on Monday and Wednesday
afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 at the main campus of Village
Meadows Church.

***Upcoming
field trips to Willcox!!
Two separate trips are being planned! The first is on
Tuesday, September16th at 1:00p.m. The cost for this trip
is $5 per person (one adult may attend free) and will
involve picking apples from the orchard!
The second trip is on Friday, October 10th, at 1:00. The
cost for this trip is $7 per person (one adult may attend
free) and will include selecting a pumpkin from the patch
plus access to a corn maze!

your family would like to lead an activity. There are
MANY badges that cover a wide range of interests - almost
anything goes!
*There
is no special membership for Keepers of the Faith so anyone
can join in on any Keepers activities whenever it is good
for your family!

Guitar
lessons ~
Offered by a
local homeschooling mother and daughter team!
Class meets
once a week for an hour and the cost is
$20 per month. Bring your guitar and a three ring
binder to the Matthews home - contact Heather at
mamajama92@yahoo.com for more
information.
***Cove
swimming -
Homeschool swimming has begun for the school year!!! Swim
time is from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoons at the
Cove. Cost is $2.50 per child with a $10 family maximum.
Parents must stay at the Cove with their children.

opportunities - there are
always any number of ways to serve the families of GRACE
through the GRACE fellowship - planning field trips,
offering to host a family meeting, sharing your area of
expertise with others...the list goes on!
Prayerfully consider where the Lord may be calling you to
serve the families of GRACE.
Please keep in mind - the GRACE homeschool fellowship as an
organization is intended as a means
to
serve others and does not
have any significance of its own.
Serve
God, serve family, then serve others!
